Splash! Web Authoring is yet another WYSIWYG (What you See Is What You Get) web page authoring program. The interface looks cool, and Splash! supports many features of HTML. It makes it much easier to do many of the advanced features of HTML, like tables and forms. Adding plug-ins is made easier with Splash!, just select which one you want, follow the instructions, and you have it. There is one really great feature of it - you can tell it which screen size to emulate (640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768) without having to actually change yours.

Splash! is unfortunately just limited to HTML; there is no JavaScript, DHTML, or CSS support. It also lacks a way to edit the HTML while you're in Splash! (Like Macromedia Dreamweaver has). Overall, I recommend Splash! to anyone who is new to HTML and wants an easy way to create fairly good web pages. I do not recommend it for advanced programmers; it's too basic for them.
